Tron is an open-source script developed with the aim of fighting malware, cryptominers, and other remnants that clutter your PC, all automatically, without you having to get your hands dirty.
Designed to optimize your cleaning and disinfection sessions, Tron takes care of automating 85 to 90% of the heavy lifting, based on the principle that some operations are truly effective only when you take the time to look at them yourself.
Once the archive’s contents have been decompressed and saved in the directory of your choice, Tron recommends that you boot your computer in Safe Mode. Then click the file tron.bat in the folder \resource, and run it as an administrator.
Comprehensive, Tron offers to perform several supplementary cleaning operations such as killing running tasks, deleting temporary files, uninstalling unnecessary and obsolete programs like OEMs, disinfecting your machine, repairing system and network errors, or defragmenting the disk.
Developed by an active community, Tron is regularly updated in order to further improve its effectiveness.
